Important Announcement! New Things! Look!

Through the next month, I’m going to be restructuring my current offerings and prices. You will still be able to get all the fabulous prints and products you can get now, but I’ll also have some new items available. And! I will now have collections available. Details will be coming when everything goes live on December 1st. I’m super excited and can’t wait to share it all with you! (Yay!)

If you’d like to secure your session with the current prices, now is the time to do it. To lock in these prices, you need to book your session before November 30th. The session can take place later, but you will need to sign the contract and pay the session fee before the deadline.

How did it get to be April already?! However it happened, I’m pleased and excited! Spring makes me happy! These flowers make me feel springy. That also makes me happy!

Happy March! I know that here in Michigan it’s still going to be cold and wintery for a while yet. But just the thought that we’re out of February and into March is exciting and makes it seem like Spring might actually be here soon. (hahaha, I know.) This penguin has nothing to do with March or with Spring in any way. But I love him and he’s cute. Don’t you want to take him home with you?

Happy 2010! New things from Photography by Wendy!

Ok peeps, I’ve thought long and hard about what new things I’d like to offer for 2010. I am super excited with what I’ve come up with and I hope you will be too!

On to the new things! In no particular order, the list!

1.) The first booked session of each month will have the session fee waived.

2.) On your birthday, receive a set of 2 wallet sized photo magnets with your order.

3.) 10-image, accordion fold wallet albums are now available for $48.

4.) I will be offering a limited edition art print each month. Each print will be priced at $100 and will be printed on fine art paper and mounted on 1/8″ masonite. The image will change each month and will only be available during that month.

5.) Portrait parties! Get 4-7 of your friends together for fun and photographs! Full details will be coming soon!

Win a night out!

I’m looking to get some fresh faces in my portfolio. To make it a little more fun, I’m making it into a contest. Yay!

To enter, send some people my way to get their photos taken (for free!) and  you’ll be entered into the drawing for dinner and a movie for 2.

Those you send my way will receive 1 free session, 1 set of referral cards, web sized logo’d photos for facebook/myspace/email,  and 5 unit prints of their choice.

The rules:

Each session booked = one entry. Each entry must fit one of the categories below. Sessions must be with people I have not photographed before.

The categories:

  • babies
  • children
  • families
  • pets
  • maternity
  • couples
  • high school seniors

A bonus prize will be given to anyone with entries in every category.

Contest will end at 11:59 p.m., October 31, 2009.

Contest winner, site news

I went to random.org to choose the contest winner. It spit out the number 3 for me. So congratulations to Heather Durow! You will love your story board!

I think I’ll take a break from contests for the next month or two. Instead, anyone who books during the month of April (this is just the booking, your session does not have to take place in April) will receive a free something. You won’t know what you’re getting until after you book, but it will be something snazzy!

Also, beginning May 1, the session fee will be going up to $75, but will now include a set of proofs that will be yours to keep. To book at current prices, make sure you book your session before April ends. Again, your session can be later, but you must book and sign the contract in April.

March Contest!

This month, comment to be entered to win a free 10×20 inch story board! These are awesome because they allow you to display more than one of your beautiful images in one frame. I love the chance to do these and I am super excited to give one away!

Rules to note: This can be used with a past or future session. It can be transferred to someone else. You can feel free to give it to someone you like for them to use with a past or future session!

The prize this month is one free portrait session and one free 10×20 inch story board!
