Welcome to the new home of Photography by Wendy! I am all sorts of excited to finally be able to share the new site with you. I’ve been working on things behind the scenes for weeks now, impatiently waiting for the end of the month to come so I could make it all go live. And now, here we are! Yay!
To make this even more exciting, I wanted to add in a little something for you. (Yay again!) So we’re going to have a contest! Would you like to win a Standard Portrait Session with Photography by Wendy? Would you like it to also include a $100 print credit?? Yes? You are in luck! That’s what we’re doing!

HOW DO I ENTER?
– Must be at least 18 years old.
-Email 1 snapshot (taken by you. no professional photos please.) of your sweet self, your kids, your cat, or your dog to mail@wendyseye.com with the subject “Portrait Contest”
-Please include your name, your contact info, and how you heard about the contest.
-Photos can be submitted from December 2nd – 19th via email.
-Please, only one entry per person. Session must be used by the person entering. Please don’t have others enter for you.
-Every entry that doesn’t win will receive a $50 print credit to be used with a future session.
HOW WILL SUBMISSIONS BE JUDGED?
-All entries received by December 19th will be placed in an album on the Photography by Wendy Facebook page.
-Voting will start on Monday, December 20th, and end on Thursday, December 30th.
-The Official winner will be notified and announced on Friday, December 31st.
– To vote for a photo you need to be a fan/like the Photography by Wendy Facebook page.
– Click “like” for the photo you would like to vote for in the “Portrait Contest” album.
-Only total number of “likes” will be counted as votes. Comments are permitted, but do not count as votes.
WHAT IS THE PRIZE?
-The winner will receive a Standard Portrait Session (does not include Births, Weddings, or Events) and a $100 print credit.
-Session must take place by June 30th, 2011.
-Sessions outside the Tri-City area may by subject to additional travel fee.
-No substitutions or alterations to the prize.
-There is no cash value.
-The print credit may be applied to a Collection.
-Additional prints and products will be available for purchase.
-Cannot be combined with any other discounts or promotions.
-Prizes are not transferable to other persons
-Winner must be willing to sign a portrait contract and a model release.

April is great! It means that spring will finally begin to feel like it’s here, the world will get all pretty and bright again, birds will happily chirp and sing, and *I* will happily say goodbye to another Michigan winter!
