The Lovely Holly – Saginaw Maternity Photographer

I really love that I was able to capture Holly’s baby journey, from maternity portraits, to the birth session, to the newborn portraits afterward. We were able to capture so many beautiful images that I just LOVE.

We did the maternity portraits in two segments. We went to Ojibway Island in the evening, and then the next morning. We finished off the second part of the session at Holly’s home with some fairly naked black and white shots (ooh la la!) The light on the island is gorgeous in the morning! I love the way the weeping willows look with the golden light shining through the leaves. Perfection.

I feel so lucky to have had the chance to spend some time with and photograph this gorgeous mama-to-be! We went to the Bay City (MI) river walk for our session and the light was sparkley and golden and beautiful. It was a little roasty (for me!) but you’d never know it looking at S.

I look forward to doing a full black & white part two. Yay!
