I love portraits and they make up my favorite and best work. But when S contacted me about shooting her elopement (!) in Chicago (!!!) I just couldn’t say no. We made a weekend of it and had a fantastic time! It was so cold! But it was sweet and romantic and I am honored to have been a part of their beautiful and special day!

The ceremony was at the top of the Hancock building at night. It was an interesting and new experience for me! But that meant that we had a whole day to play with to take some pictures around fabulous Chicago! We walked around the city and ended up at Navy Pier, where we captured some of my favorite images.
