Now usually I do everything but weddings. I love portraits and they make up my favorite and best work. But when S contacted me about shooting her elopment (!) in Chicago (!!!) I just couldn’t say no. We made a weekend of it and had a fantastic time! It was so cold! But it was sweet and romantic and I am honored to have been a part of their beautiful and special day!

The ceremony was at the top of the Hancock building at night. It was an interesting and new experience for me! But that meant that we had a whole day to play with to take some pictures around fabulous Chicago! We walked around the city and ended up at Navy Pier, where we captured some of my favorite images.

H is a friend from way back. I was thrilled when she asked me to do some family photos for her. We went to Dow Gardens in Midland and had a fabulous time! Everything had started to bloom and it was beautiful. There are so many places to shoot there. I can’t wait to go back. There were so many great images from this shoot that I had a very hard time narrowing it down to make this post! Enjoy!

J has made appearances here before and I’m happy to have been able to create his senior portraits. And I love love love that I got to capture some prom memories as well! Senior year is filled with so many great and fun things. I am pleased to have been a part of it all and to be able to help make sure he and his family have some great images to help those memories last a lifetime.
